Alternatively you could set a delay just for TextMate by replacing <code>-g</code> with <code>com.macromates.TextMate</code>.<br /> Run</p> <pre><code>defaults delete -g NSInitialToolTipDelay </code></pre> <p>If you want to revert to the default value.</p> You could change the delay for all tooltips globally, by running this command:
