Ok, I figured out how to uninstall. You have to delete the plugin from both /Library/Quicklook/ and ~/Library/Application Support/Textmate/Plugins

I would NOT install this plugin, as so far I’ve found no means for uninstalling it. Manually removing it doesn’t work. It reloads itself every time you open TextMate and the QuickLook Daemon refreshes. How do you get rid of it? My system does not default to plain text quicklook as your article states.

I figured out how to remove the plugins so the TMQuicklook.generator file is not automatically added to the QuickLook folder every time that TextMate is launched.

Go to /Library/Application Support/Text Mate/Plugins or ~/Library/Application Support/Text Mate/Plugins and delete the plugins TMQuickLook.tmplugin and QuickLookTM.tmplugin.

Then from terminal run: qlmanage -r

Although, this is an acceptable solution for me, I would still like to know if there is a way to control which plugin is used or to selectively associate files. For example, I would to use the TMQuickLook plugin when TextMate is running and use QLColorCode when it is not.

It might just be too much to ask for.

Let me start by saying that these are great plugins. But I didn't like the fact that I have to have TM running for it to work. I was using another plugin to QL source files and now this plugin has taken over. I don't know if it is a thing of order in which the plugins are loaded or what, but I would like for my other plugin to work.

So my questions are these: Is there a way to control which plugin has control of which files when you have multiple plugins trying to preview that type of file? Or is there proper way to edit the plist file for TM plugin to exclude lets say php and ruby files? Is there a way to completely remove the TM plugins and if so could I please get instructions on how to do?

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
